My practice is here to assist my clients to heal, feel greater balance and vitality, and to deeply relax and enjoy the amazing benefits of Reflexology treatments.
My love affair with this incredible modality deepens over time as I witness the changes and improvements that are felt by the people visiting my clinic daily.
New Client's often ask me "how and why did you start practicing Reflexology?"
The first answer is that I wanted to train in body work that would allow me to be a part of the natural therapies community, supporting myself, my family, and my community in healing and health. The second answer that may seem strange to some, is that I have always loved feet, finding them a beautiful and very powerful part of the human body. Learning the ancient art of Reflexology deepened and heightened that respect and appreciation exponentially.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to share the benefits with my clients over the years and I continue learning and expanding with every day and every treatment I do.
And a little something about me outside of my Reflexology practice; I keep healthy and happy by daily reflexology on myself, walking and swimming at the beach, activities engaging with nature, fresh food and good quality water, and being around anything (or anyone) that uplifts my Spirit.
I also have a deep love of any form of Spirituality, meditation, and gentle exercise like yoga and pilates.
Thank you for visiting my website and I look forward to meeting you and assisting you with greater health and well-being!

"Reflexology is used worldwide as a complementary therapy. Reflexology theory is that a Reflexologist can apply specific, adjusted pressure and stimuli techniques to the individual’s reflex points in the hands, feet, hands and ears. Applying pressure to these reflex areas may affect the organs and body systems and the touch sends energy flowing through the body bringing balance and deep relaxation which allows the body to heal." —Reflexology Association of Australia
What are the most important potential benefits of Reflexology?
Reflexology (massage & treatment of the feet/hands/ears) has been practised in various forms around the world for many thousands of years. The practice of palpating (intentional pressure to) the feet to gain greater balance and health in the body systems is used in many cultures world wide to this day and in many western countries integrated into hospitals and main stream medical practice (not so much in Australia at this time).
In Reflexology, the entire body including organs, bones, and all body systems are mapped on the feet, (also hands & ears), and it is believed that working over these areas by a practitioner assists in balancing and bringing greater health and well-being to the "reflected" part. There are many theories and studies done to try and explain why this may be but at the end of the day for me, the "proof is in the pudding". It is the tangible results and improvements in my clients that are the convincing signs of the benefits of this modality.
If you are not a believer in the meridian and acupressure point theory of Reflexology, benefits will still be gained as Reflexology stimulates the circulation and nerve endings in the feet and mobilises the many joints and articulations of the 26 (hard working) bones in each foot, that are our constant support every day. There are many lymphatic channels in the feet and an added benefit of Reflexology is the movement and detoxifying effect of working these areas in the foot. Not to mention that (for the most part) it feels wonderful! 😊
What to wear
Loose fitting and comfortable clothes are best. You do NOT get undressed for reflexology. The only suggestion is that because of the calf massage at the end of the treatment, it is best if you were loose fitting pants or a dress that can be pulled up to above the knees.
Should I prepare my feet?
No you don't need to do anything special : ). Your feet get a soothing wipe with warm towels before we start so don't worry if they are not perfectly clean!
NOTE: I may not be able to treat feet that have active warts, or tinea. I can wear gloves in mild cases but it's better to clear up these issues before coming to see me. 🙏🏼
I hold a certificate IV in Swedish relaxation massage
Swedish massage is a lovely firm, and relaxing sequence that helps melt aways tight spots and tension. It is a relatively medium pressure with the aim of encouraging the body to deeply relax and naturally come into balance and detox. Clients give me feedback regularly on how incredibly relaxed and lighter they feel after this style of massage. Over 20 individual movements are incorporated into this routine on the neck, back, shoulders and buttocks/hips.
Hot towels are gently applied over the shoulders to begin and a gentle hip stretch.
You will feel relaxed and lightened after this beautiful style of therapeutic massage.
